Dr. Caban
Dr. Caban is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico Medical School, and a Board Certified Dermatologist. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Caban completed his internal medicine internship at SINAI Hospital of Baltimore followed by a dermatology residency at the University of Puerto Rico. He has practiced medicine since 1988, and has served the Tampa Bay region for over 20 years. Dr. Caban is the acting Medical Director at Caban Skin Institute, which he founded in 1991. Prior to that, Dr. Caban practiced dermatology at Homestead Air Force Base. He is a member of numerous professional and scientific societies including, but not limited to the American Medical Association, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Academy of Dermatology.
Lou Ann Heckman MSN, ARNP-c.
Lou Ann received her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Tampa and is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Graduating with Honors and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing. Undergraduate work was completed at Eckerd College earning a Bachelors of Arts in Human Development, graduating with High Honors. Lou Ann attended Bellarmine College majoring in Nursing on a full academic scholarship. Background includes diverse experience including Cardiac Care, Intensive Care, Dermatology, and Women’s Health. Cosmetics are her speciality, as she is adept utilizing the blunt cannula to artistically place filler with minimal bruising, pain, or down time.

Amber Zeier attended the University of Florida, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences. After a year working as a medical assistant at a dermatology office, Amber began graduate school at the University of Florida College of Medicine and graduated with a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. Now a nationally certified Physician Assistant, Amber has worked as both a surgical and dermatological PA. She enjoys all aspects of dermatology, including the clinical and cosmetic aspects of the field. She is an active member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
